Flight out was good - actually saw a forest fire from the air just off the sea to sky highway - it was dark so a good show. Just came back from a 3 hr tour (sound familiar) to the city centre and are about to board for the 8 hr flight to Nairobi. Both in good spirits as we consumed some and had a great tour of the canels and old "city centre:)". Almost got busted as we ordered two beers but did not have the euros to pay - had credit, debit and US (and some Cdn Tire as well:) - yes Ute - we should have had more Euros - we left the US and dashed as the bar owner was a wee bit ticked with us - lovely warm fellow.
Saw lots of house boats, etc and had dinner in a cheese shop with samples (don't think they intended it for that purpose but oh well).
Down to the dark continent we go!
